The Clean-up of World Mission Society Church of God

More than a year on from the Christchurch quake the clean-up there is still ongoing.

Today a group of over 50 volunteers went into the red and orange zones in Dallington today to help clean up the abandoned derelict suburbs and to show those living around them that they are not forgotten.

A large group from the Church of God arranged clean up to coincide with a world-wide celebration of the religious festival, the Passover.

The members of World Mission Society Church of God conducted an environmental clean-up campaign in Aracaju and this campaign is being carried on simultaneously all over the world.

<The Reporter>

The saints of Church of God began the clean-up with holding brooms and plastic bags after they had gathered and prayed at Jose Holemberg Reizi bus terminal. They swept the stairs of Tancredp Neves street with brooms and cleared drains and the street. The youth said that they conducted this activity with the mind of serving communities and concern about the environment.
